How do you turn off the startup sound on a Lenovo Y550 Laptop?
The startup sound for the computer is super loud, and I'd love to turn it off so that when I go off to college I don't wake my roomate up every time I turn it on... Thanks for the answers!

Go to your start, then computer and then go to your settings, it is going to let you personalize your computer, with how loud your keys are to what you want to fix. If it is enable to change, then you are going to have to keep your volume down.

Press F2 at startup to get into the BIOS settings and you can set the startup sound volume there. Loud, quiet or off.
