its not about the brand its about the quality there are some laptops that have like the same quality and stuffs but their price have a big difference cause of the brand. there are really some items that are expensive because of their brand names.

My first reference would be HP.Till now my dad bought has bought 3 laptops for me,my sister and for himself.All of them were HP.Never faced any hardware problem till now and good service support. HP laptops are quite costly laptops as compared to Dell but has excellent build quality. My second choice would be Dell. Other brands like Sony,lenovo,Acer are okay.But I recommendyou to lookout for HP or Dell.

hey i bought my laptop a week ago, paid less than $500 and I got a webcam, DVD burner, 15.6" screen AND a fingerprint reader and wifi. Could not be happier! I went through a lot of store specials but found amazon.com to be the best.
