How do I lower the contrast on a Vista Lenovo laptop?

You have to check what kind of graphic card you have installed on your Lenovo laptop. Is it a Intel GMA, Radeon, or Nvidia. They all have a different software that lets you control the contrast and color of your video. I don't know what you have but you can easily check yourself by right clicking on your desktop to see a Nvidia or ATI control panel. If none of those appears, right click on your desktop and go to personalize. Then go to Display to see what graphics you have. (Off my head, my brother is on the Vista laptop, I use XP MCE)

How is Lenovo as a laptop brand?

How is Lenovo as a laptop brand? Good for casual use?
I read it's a good business laptop, but I wanna use it for media.

Cant tell you for media but I have one got it in january and fantastic price and fantastic laptop im very happy KingWork who sells them on ebay was also very helpfull maybe send a message and ask which lenovo laptop he would reccomend for media as you would need better specs then i did, But im definately very happy Goodluck!
