is lenovo a better choice for a laptop ?
if yes which lenovo laptop is the best ? if no which company is best the best choice. i am looking for a laptop witch has gr8 performance which can run games of graphics upto level of ps3 a good design with combination of good looks(sleek-slim design) and a good battery like more than 5 hours thanks in advance for helping guys.. :D

you really need a dedicated gaming laptop if you want to be able to run the later generation of games with all the bells and whistles switched on, checkout Alienware laptops if you have the cash they are the ones to look at.

The company I work for use Lenovo and 1 in 10 fail within the 1st year. Don't do it.....

Lenovo = no nonsense business brand. They're not exactly the type you'd be looking for if you want a good multimedia gaming laptop. Of all, I usually prefer: Toshiba Qosmio (good, but very costly) Dell XPS (great looks, a little costly but has good build quality) MSI (they have a bunch of gaming laptops, at pretty good prices.) ASUS (very good value, pretty good quality, and very good looks to boot. Take a look at the G series of gaming laptops) The ones to avoid: HP (lousy quality, terrible value) Gateway (see above) Alienware (the Prada of gaming notebooks, you'll most likely be paying more for less hardware. )

most computer manufacturers get their parts for the same source + assembly line.. however, you can get all the same features you're looking for in a LENOVO from HP for a much cheaper + slightly better quality ... just wait 'til the have a good sale and check techbargains for a promo code..... if you find the right combo you can get a fairly decent laptop for an amazingly cheap price!! look into an HP Pavillion dv3t!! the only downside to HP is their "award winning" customer service <3

well i dont think there are laptops that have that good graphics but lenovo laptops are pretty good just not on the battery and it has pretty good graphics im on mine now so far ive played gta sa world of warcraft orange box spore i think more but o well

How to reformat Lenovo Laptop without a disk?
So, yes. I do not have a boot/windows disk to reformat my Lenovo T61 ThinkPad and was wondering how would I go about reformatting my laptop without a disk? Also how to recover windows after the reformat? If anyone has any information, steps, websites, videos, etc. that'd be spiffy. ^^

Without the Disk how do you propose to reload anything? Go to the manufacturers web site and buy a set of restore disks.

you can use the OneKey Recovery utility. it should be in the Lenovo folder in the start menu.

How do i fix my lenovo laptop?
I recently purchased a lenovo laptop and when it turns on normally its great. But sometimes it turns on and the lenovo words stay up on the screen for two minutes. After that a message comes up saying: Broadcom UNDI PXE 2.1 VII 4.0 Media Test failure, check cable exiting broadcom PXE ROM Any ideas for a solution or even whats wrong with it you can obviously tell im not tech savy. Thank you

I believe that something came off inside of it. If you want to risk it unscrew the bottom and make sure all of the cables and cards are plugged in. But broadcom is usually a wireless card so I don't know why it would show it. Other option is to write to the Lenovo tech support and ask for a suggestion.
