How to remove "veriface" on my lenovo laptop with windows xp?
Everytime I turn on my computer a "veriface" box pops up and won't let me log onto my user account (on windows xp) without first exiting the veriface box. How can I delete veriface from my computer? It is annoying! Thanks :) ps. I am an admin on the xp

VeriFace is the face recognition software (i.e., in lieu of password) of Lenovo laptops. Here is how to turn it off: Start>All Programs>Lenovo VeriFace Recognition>VeriFace Recognition>Settings Tab>Modify>Deselect the "Use face recognition at the time of login" check box>Select "Modify">Save Changes.

IBM Lenovo model is 2007-55u

I need a replacement key for a Lenovo laptop?
I can't find any part numbers for the specific key but the IBM Lenovo model is 2007-55u. It is a T60 from Lenovo, not IBM because the T60 was manufactured under both companies. I can't find it online and I have spent over an hour on the phone simply getting the run around. Any ideas? Help for where to get the correct key is much appreciated!

Apparently it's $5 a key at Laptopkey.com http://www.laptopkey.com/KeyboardKeys.php/Lenovo/Thinkpad/T60 They just need you to narrow down the details on that page. end of line

Looks like it has just vga input so you would only need a vga cable then go into your laptops display preferences and change the settings.

try getting another cd from friends and family and use it to install but use you're cd key from the back of laptop.

Vista will allow you to either buy a 64 bit disc for about $10, or download the executable so you can burn the disk for free, I would do this so you would be able to upgrade oyur ram to 4gb in the future to. here's the link to find more info http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/41531554-d5ef-4f2c-8fb9-149bdc5c8a701033.mspx

if windows is embedded on the hard drive, it's still there, waiting for you to hit the right key. check with the manufacture
4 :
Press F12 or whatever your com displays just before windows starts up , search for your OS and make sure it is enabled , vista is probably built in .
