I have Comcast HS on my home computer;just bought a Lenovo laptop but am having probs connecting to highspeed
I have Comcast High Speed on my home computer; I just bought a Lenovo laptop but am having problems downloading the Comcast software and getting connected to the internet. Can Highspeed work with laptops or do I have to go wireless. Please Help!!! Thanks!!!!

Your computer can plug directly into the Cable modem using a USB or Ethernet cable. That will make which ever computer is hooked up to the modem on the Internet. However, if you want both compters on your comcast at the same time, the simplest solution would to purchase a router.

download comcast software in home computer, burn it on cd or copy to usb pen drive, then copy it to laptop and install it. high speed work on laptop but you need to get network configuration right (maybe by installing comcast software to laptop via home computer)
