When I turn on my Lenovo laptop, it shuts down before Windows start working. What should I do?

Blue screen? Could run a memory checker on it

Plug in the AC adapter and then power it up. Check to see if the battery is charging. If not, call service. If it does not work on AC then call service.

same problem, except mine never goes past the Windows xp screen....it keeps rebooting, and rebooting, and rebooting, and rebooting...

try booting it into safemode after the bios splash screen start pressing f8 a menu will pop up select safe mode you will see alot of lines of stuff followed by a long pause don't be afraid message me if this works and I will troubleshoot with you
