Lenovo laptop screen goes nearly black. How to fix?
My laptop is an old lenovo t60 thinkpad. The screen works well and fine until I start using it. Most times, it will go "off" as if the backlight broke. However, considering that the boot screen works fine, I think it's software related. Pressing fn+f7 toggles resolution settings and allows the screen to brighten momentarily. I can't seem to pinpoint the problem or solution myself. What may be the problem?

Try plugging it into a pc monitor to see if the problem continues. If not you may have to fix the laptop screen. http://www.sendnfix.com provides screen repair
